Alton car park is free to use for the next two Saturdays.

EHDC have teamed up with Alton Town Council to provide free parking in Lady Place car park from 10am-4pm on Saturday 3 December and 10 December 2023.

Councillor Ken Moon, portfolio holder for Economic Prosperity, said: “We’re proud to be able to offer free parking in Alton this year, and I’d like to thank Alton Town Council for their help in setting it up. Shopping locally is a great way to support the local economy and local people, so I encourage people to think ‘could I buy this locally’ before ordering gifts online"
