On Wednesday 10th January the draft Local Plan was approved by the Planning Policy committee for publication for the purposes of a Regulation 18 consultation. The consultation is now open and will last for 6 weeks closing on 4th March.

Responses can be submitted through EHDC's consultation website:

The consultation website allows residents to head to the sections that are most important to them and then make their comments quickly and easily.

For anyone unable to respond online, you can respond by email: localplan@easthants.gov.uk or by writing to: Planning Policy East Hampshire District Council, Penns Place, Petersfield, Hampshire, GU31 4EX

When responding by email or by letter, it is important to identify which section, policy or proposed site allocation is being responded to.

A series of public drop-in events will be held during the consultation, details below:

  1. Whitehill & Bordon Forest Community Centre, Thursday 1 Feb 3.30-7.30pm
  2. The Maltings, Alton, Saturday 3 Feb 10-2pm
  3. The Millennium Centre at Liphook, Wed 7 Feb 3.30-7.30pm.
  4. Four Marks Village Hall, Monday 19 Feb 3.30-7.30pm.
  5. Merchistoun Hall, Horndean , Tuesday 20 Feb 3.30-7.30pm
