Friends of The Royal Oak Pub Committee, has been formed to raise the funds required to purchase and renovate this local pub.

This team of volunteers have been working hard to re-establish The Royal Oak, Lasham as a viable and sustainable community pub and they now need your help to take the next step. They hope to be able to buy The Royal Oak on behalf of the community, for it to be run as a genuine community asset, generating a range of benefits for the local community and visitors alike.

Friends of The Royal Oak Pub have now received an agreement in principle from the owner of the pub to sell it to the community, but they require a quick sale so time is not on our side. The group will need to raise around £700,000 in total to purchase the pub and get it open. They also have long -term plans to improve the pub which will be the subject of separate fundraising.

If you are interested in buying shares in the pub (£1 each) to help finance these plans, then please email chair@theroyaloaklasham.co.uk before 30th November 2024
